Job Summary


The primary purpose of a Residential Business Development Representative is to schedule inspections for Pest Control Consultants (PCC’s) to meet with prospective customers from both inbound leads and outbound campaigns. This person will meet or exceed Baseline Sales Targets and meet or exceed KPIs while maintaining a customer service focus.

The BDR’s may be required to support the inside sales team as needed to handle incoming sales calls. The primary purpose of this role is to sell and upsell our Pest Management Services and Products to residential prospects and current clientele professionally, profitably and ethically by executing the company designed sales process.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


  • Effectively manage inbound leads [Marketing, phone calls,web form,web chat,vendor,other]

  • Executing outbound campaigns to assist in scheduling inspections for prospective customers

  • Gather qualifying information from customers and update CRM database with accurate information

  • Meets or exceeds minimum activity requirements as defined in KPIs (key performance indicators).

  • Communication- speaks with prospective clients- over the telephone, via email, or through web chat software- to discuss our value proposition and lines of business.

  • Tools- Makes effective use of Google Apps, CCM Scheduling, and SalesExec

  • Enthusiasm- Displays enthusiasm and treats all prospects with respect.

  • Conscientious- Shows self-discipline, acts dutifully, and aims to achieve against measures.

  • Maintain proficiency in key market segments and translate that knowledge into meaningful prospect benefits as appropriate including core competencies:

    • Products (all Lines of Business)

    • Services

    • Operations

  • Activity Tracking– Log call and email activity (attempts and notes) in tasks accurately and meet deadlines as appropriate.

  • Communicates details to sales partners for successful inspections. This includes taking good notes and conveying customer’s needs via sales system, and where required via email/phone

  • Tracks and reports monthly commissions utilizing designated process

  • Organizes call and email activities to maximize customer interface time.

  • Archives and manages important email communications and documents.


CANDIDATE SUMMARY

Required Experience


  • 1+ years successful experience at a rapidly growing professional sales organisation.

  • 1+ years Call center experience

  • Proven history of driving sales results and achieving goals

  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven success in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training


High School Diploma or GED at a minimum

No licenses/certificates are required for this position.
