Your Opportunity

As a NoveList Engagement Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our library customers are successful in using our products and services. You will accomplish this through consultations with customers, analyzing usage, and developing and implementing engagement plans to increase usage and ensure renewals.


This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).


What You’ll Do (Primary Responsibilities)

  • Create and implement strategic and measurable customer engagement plans for several NoveList products and services to drive adoption and renewal and influence purchasing decisions
  • Meet virtually with select customers to understand specific engagement needs and offer solutions
  • Analyze data, write reports, and make recommendations based on your findings
  • Conduct live and recorded product overviews or trainings
  • Develop a thorough understanding of your assigned products, updating help documentation and FAQs as needed
  • Act as the “voice of the customer” on your assigned products
  • Stay on top of the latest research and trends in product engagement; share findings with team members to improve processes and services and develop new ones.
  • Lead and/or contribute to department initiatives and represent the department on cross-departmental working groups as assigned.

About You

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a role related to marketing, product sales, public relations, library science, or communications
  • At least 2 years’ experience presenting live (virtual) or recorded training or presentations, writing product help documentation, or related work
  • Able to travel occasionally, up to 10%


What sets you apart

  • Proven ability to develop measurable and strategic plans with SMART goals, preferably related to product adoption or customer engagement
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly with training customers to use online software.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience using Camtasia or other video editing software
  • Experience with a library, publisher or reader-focused organization as an employee or volunteer
  • Experience with NoveList, EBSCO, or other library-focused products and services


Our Offer to You:

Target Annual Compensation Range: $58,055 - $82,935


The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
