Job Description

 

The sky is the limit here at North American Senior Benefits. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Insurance Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing clients' insurance needs, recommending suitable policies, and ensuring their coverage adequately protects their assets and interests. As an Insurance Broker, you will build strong relationships with clients, negotiate with insurance companies to secure competitive rates, and provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess clients' insurance needs and financial situation to recommend appropriate policies.
  2. Educate clients on various types of insurance coverage and help them understand their options.
  3. Research insurance companies and policies to find the best coverage for clients at competitive rates.
  4. Customize insurance policies to suit individual client requirements and preferences.
  5. Negotiate with insurance underwriters to secure favorable terms and pricing for clients.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, claims, and concerns.
  7. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policy details.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and industry professionals.
  10. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize sales strategies and achieve team targets.

Requirements:

  1. Be a performance driven individual and
  2. In-depth knowledge of various insurance products, policies, and regulations.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  6. Proficiency in using insurance broker software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  7. Sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  8. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred).
  9. Insurance broker license or certification, or the ability to obtain a License.
  10. Continuing education in insurance-related topics to stay updated on industry practices and regulations.
