We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in providing the highest level of care to our clients. As a Phlebotomist at Arrow Passage, you will play a vital role in the treatment and recovery process, making a difference in the lives of those struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform phlebotomy procedures on clients, including venipuncture and finger pricks, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines

- Ensure proper identification of all specimens and accurately record and label them for testing

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times

- Maintain an organized and clean work area, properly disposing of biohazardous materials and following infection control protocols

- Communicate effectively with medical staff and team members to coordinate and prioritize lab orders

- Follow established procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing to ensure accurate and timely results

- Record and report any issues or discrepancies with specimens or equipment to appropriate staff

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a phlebotomist in a healthcare setting

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic laboratory procedures

- Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Compassion, empathy, and a strong desire to help individuals in their recovery journey

Salary: $37,000 to $46,000
