Job Description

We are looking for our 1099 Regional Sales Specialist to have some knowledge in Durable Medical Equipment including power wheelchairs and mobility scooters category.

The 1099 Regional Sales Specialist will use a consultative and relationship-building approach with local providers with an emphasis on product expertise, high quality products and reliable support.

Core Functions:

  • Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.

  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

Job duties:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization's products/services.
  • Sends e-mails, makes phone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with marketing, sales management, and accounting departments.
  • Analyzes the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing/prospective customers’ value to the organization.
  • Identifies and compares organization's competitor products/services.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with the VA [Veterans Affairs] and Durable Medical Equipment.
  • Post-secondary degree or recognized training certification in Sales and/or Marketing from a reputable institution.
  • Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving; able to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
  • Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Must be willing to travel in-state and out-of-state for trade shows and other job-related activities.

  • Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with customers either verbally or in writing.

The pay structure is based on DME industry experience and product knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Commission

  • B2B Sales: 3 years in durable medical equipment field.
  • Monthly commission is based on 3~9% varied by models

  • Associate (Preferred)
