About Us

TransGlobal is the largest Asian General Agency in the US with 25 offices focusing on a variety of financial services including insurance, real estate, mortgage, investment, pension planning, and tax services.



1. Assist business clients of 5 to 25 employees with 401(k) plan design and administration

2. Collect census data from clients to determine eligibility and vesting schedule

3. Review each participant’s eligibility in satisfying age or service requirement

4. Calculate and allocate employer contributions for clients

5. Prepare and process distribution packages for plan participants

6. Explain plan rules, regulations, and notices of plan changes

7. Complete and file required IRS Annual Returns (eg. Form 5500, Form 5330, Form 1099-R… etc)

8. Monitor compliance with 401(k) plan rules and federal regulations

9. Conduct discriminating testing and audit support

10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERISA laws and regulations on retirement pan legislation


1) Proficient in computer skills – MS Office: Excel, Word, Adobe: Acrobat

2) Familiar with ERISA regulations, DATAIR software

3) Prefer 5 years of experience in 401(k) plan set up, employee eligibility, vesting schedule, plan termination

4) Knowledge in 401(k) profit-sharing plan

5) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

6) Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, professional phone etiquette

7) Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a plus
