Fairway Capital Markets' (FCM) mission is to provide real estate fund managers the capital raising solutions they want and need but has never existed in a way that really works for them. As long-time fund managers and advisors to other managers, FCM's principals have explored nearly every conceivable path to raise capital for middle market funds. FCM's model combines legal compliance at a rational cost to the manager with modern technology to create an easy, compelling, and pressure free experience for investors to interact and feel empowered when considering an investment.

Fairway America Investments is an alternative investment manager focused exclusively on private real estate investments of various types, including debt, equity, and GP and LP positions. The Role

As our Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across our verticals. You will be responsible for proactively reaching out to leads through outbound calls, emails, and other methods, to hold frequent discovery conversations, and qualify leads to be handed off to our Senior Sales Director. You will become an expert on communicating the value of the offerings of both Fairway Capital Markets and Verivest, building an understanding of each individual customer's problems and proposing custom solutions to solve them. We are looking for a results-driven, motivated individual with direct experience in the real estate investment or technology space, who is looking for a role where they can make a significant impact on the growth of the company and advance within the organization both professionally and financially.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at real estate investment firms, holding frequent discovery conversations with prospects to learn and understand their business needs.
  • Diagnose each customer's unique business challenges and pain points, and propose custom solutions based on our products and services.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities, prospecting extensively via phone, email and other methods, to generate qualified leads.
  • Meet or exceed metrics, such as number of meaningful conversations, and qualified leads.
  • Hit quarterly strategic targets agreed upon with your manager.
  • Attend regular sales/marketing training meetings with Sales team to review products and service offerings, determine appropriate strategies, target lists, listen to sales calls, and other activities to improve skills and results.
  • Provide feedback to the Executive and Sales teams on how to improve product offerings based on your conversations with prospects.
  • Periodically attend industry conferences for business development purposes.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed for the success of the team and the Company.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in sales or business development in real estate tech, financial services, or lending.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly, in order to discover and diagnose a customer's problems.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals and targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and telephone etiquette.
  • Customer oriented mindset to establish credibility and create trust through a long-term consultative relationship
