Role Overview:
Centauri Health Solutions seeks an experienced .NET Application Developer to join our remote team.

The Application Developer II uses a combination of application and database development skills to create, troubleshoot, and maintain usable and efficient application systems; analyze, integrate, and enable secure access to large data set; assess application and code quality; document solutions; assess and report on opportunities and risks.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test enhancements and other changes to Centauri’s applications
  • Code, test and troubleshoot applications utilizing the appropriate tools
  • Confer with users to gain understanding of changes needed
  • Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements
  • Design and develop internal checks, controls, and logs
  • Create unit tests and automated regression tests
  • Evaluate dependencies and interrelationships between programs to determine, for example, whether and where a proposed change might cause unintended effects
  • Share information and solutions with team members
  • Actively learn new technologies and apply that knowledge to improve the user experience or productivity
  • Other duties as assigned
Role Requirements:
Requires 3+ years professional Microsoft .NET development experience, including:
  • The .NET developer tool stack, including the framework, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure DevOps
  • Common application design patterns, project types, and languages (C# required)
  • Relational database analysis and design, data modeling, query processing, and optimization
  • T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, ORM frameworks
  • Front end technologies including JavaScript, package management, CSS preprocessors, and frameworks (Angular preferred)
  • IT best practices, including development lifecycle, configuration management, deployment of new versions of applications, implementation planning, troubleshooting, monitoring, and support
  • Experience with Windows services, message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ), Azure Cloud services, low code
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a solid academic foundation in software development preferred.
