About this Role:


Under the direction of the Chief, Clinical Operations and Administration Section (COAS), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA), serves as a coordinator for a varied and complex technical and analytical staff work. The incumbent will assist and responds to requests for Protected Health Information (PHI) Data Release, Public Records Act (PRA), Subpoenas and Record Retention assignments. The AGPA will also provide budget coordination and will facilitate budget-related tasks and fiscal analysis for the Clinical Assurance Division (CAD), including but not limited to gather, analyze and provide essential information for departmental budget drills, regularly work with the Financial Management Division on CAD's fiscal budgetary projections, review the Governor's Budget for accuracy, analyze the potential impact to the CAD by conducting baseline allotments, administrative projections, among others. These activities require the AGPA to work independently and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Telework Information

The DHCS standard for hybrid work is a minimum of two days per week in- person and site-based and up to three teleworking days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department’s operational business needs and subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.

Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
