Job Description

As a crucial player in achieving the sales objectives of our agency or specialized department, this role involves contributing to both short-term and long-term growth targets outlined by our agents. The primary responsibilities include generating new business, identifying cross-selling opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring client retention, and achieving profit goals.

Key responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide them with solutions tailored to their needs
  • Conduct outside sales activities to generate leads and acquire new clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific requirements and explain policy options
  • Assess and rate new accounts during the underwriting process
  • Maintain awareness of new products and industry initiatives and actively pursue personal and professional development
  • Provide sales administration support including preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing policy renewals
  • Meet production requirements and goals established by the agent or agency manager
  • Market services to individuals, businesses, and organizations
  • Keep comprehensive records of all sales and client interactions

Experience:

  • Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred but no required
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess proficiency in computer skills
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: $60,167.00 - $69,850.00 per year
