Capitol Bridge and its affiliated companies, including Capitol Bridge Health Services, TDB, and Capitol Bridge Puerto Rico, are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. We operate in a complex environment, managing benefits for multiple companies with diverse needs and regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring effective benefits administration, enhancing employee experience, and supporting our strategic HR initiatives.
Role Overview
The Benefits Specialist will serve as a key liaison between our various entities, providing deep understanding of benefits regulations, policy development, and communication with employees, management, and external vendors. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong operational skills to manage complex benefits systems, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance across various regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (e.g., health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans)
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations
Maintain benefits records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues
Participate in benefits-related projects, such as open enrollment, system implementations, or wellness initiatives
Attend monthly meetings with staff and vendors as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a multi-entity environment
Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA
Understanding of retirement plans, including 401(k) administration
Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems, particularly Paycom
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Salary Range: $55,000-70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
