Remote U.S.-based Role

Are you passionate about healthcare and eager to learn the intricacies of regulations that shape the industry?

Our Sunrise Regulatory Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join us.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring our healthcare IT solutions remain compliant with the ever-evolving US regulatory landscape.

You'll leverage your analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication to directly support compliance with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Health IT Certification Program.

Through your contributions, you'll directly impact the delivery of certified technology to our clients, enabling them to provide quality care and optimize revenue recognition.

This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of the healthcare IT regulatory landscape, where your work will intersect with healthcare delivery to make a real difference in people's lives.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct research and stay abreast of the latest US healthcare IT (HIT) regulations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand complex regulatory requirements and legal interpretations. Communicate these interpretations effectively across the business unit.
  • Analyze regulations and translate them into actionable steps for product development and other internal teams.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of applicable ONC certification program requirements.
  • Foster a strong relationship with the certifying body partner.
  • Contribute to the setup of the technical environment for certification activities.
  • Clearly communicate progress, timelines, risks, and mitigation plans to key stakeholders.
  • Lead business activities to achieve and maintain compliance with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Health IT Certification Program.
  • As you gain experience, you'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise beyond core certification activities and become a well-rounded regulatory specialist for Sunrise.

Why you'll love working here:

  • Make a real impact: Your work will directly contribute to ensuring healthcare providers have the tools they need to deliver exceptional care.
  • Continuous learning: This is a dynamic field, and we'll provide you with the resources and support to continuously expand your knowledge.
  • Growth opportunities: We are committed to fostering career development, and this role offers a clear path to advancement within the regulatory team.
  • Collaborative environment: You'll work alongside a team of passionate and experienced professionals who are dedicated to your success.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Public Health, related business discipline) or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in healthcare technology, healthcare delivery, or healthcare regulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective collaboration across teams and departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects, timelines, and risks.
  • A quick study with a natural curiosity and a hunger for knowledge, able to learn independently and grasp complex concepts quickly.
  • Initiative and a self-starter mentality, thriving in an autonomous environment.
  • Creative thinking, contributing to both strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Comfort interacting with technically-oriented team members.
  • Proficiency in core business applications (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
  • Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing and maintaining documentation.
  • Project management skills to ensure timely achievement of regulatory milestones.

A real plus, but not required:

    • Knowledge of US healthcare delivery systems.
    • Experience in the healthcare IT vendor segment.
    • Background in regulatory affairs or a related field.
    • Technical background - working knowledge of HL7 standards, including Interface messaging, CDA, FHIR, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.

To Apply:

If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for learning and a desire to make a difference in the healthcare industry, we encourage you to apply!
