Job Description

Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE:
The Manager provides change management leadership for internal customers programs and projects. Incumbent is responsible for developing and delivering strategies, tactics, frameworks, methods and tools to achieve client business goals, engagement and adoption. Ensures the projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by growing employee adoption and usage. Will work with Business Change Management team members, program and project teams to roll out changes to our clients and stakeholders in a structured way with regard to planning, testing, and adopting and transitioning from one technology or business process to another.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as an executive advisor on a program, initiative, or complex project. Engages, coaches and supports leadership at all levels to ensure active and transparent sponsorship. Facilitates change metrics definition, targets, collection and analysis. Defines process and is responsible for measurement of system adoption, project success metrics, and benefit maximization. Reports on critical success factors and measurable benefits of projects deployed
  • Supports the development of change management skills throughout the organization; provides mentoring and guidance on the application of change management best practices. Assesses customer change management needs across project portfolio. Introduces relevant best practices to the organization. Minimizes exposure and risk on project(s) and program(s), including optimizing the timing of release of project deliverables into business operations and preparing the client and stakeholders for the transition.
  • Provide stakeholder perspective to leadership and project teams and serve as an advocate for stakeholders. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion and supports risk mitigation efforts. Manages change management practioners supporting the programs. Through guiding and mentoring of others, supports the growth of change management skills throughout the organization
  • Ensures that all defined change management deliverables are completed on time and on budget. Collaborates with project sponsors and the project team to ensure success. Responsible for reporting on project and/or program change management activities to the steering and governance committees. Ensures that projects follow appropriately scaled best practices and established processes, procedures and guidelines.
  • Management responsibilities include hiring, mentoring and training, performance reviews, and travel expense oversight. Additionally, develop and maintain annual budget, business continuity documentation and service catalogs, report monthly management metrics, and participate in management meetings and forums.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position manages people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Leadership, Communications or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Licenses/Certifications Preferred:

Certified Change Management Professional.

Experience: 5 years progressively responsible change management experience. 1-year supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Change management certification (Prosci) or designation and/or Project Management certification is a plus.
  • Management consulting, project management, facilitation and line management experience are all desirable.

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and foster collaboration.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.


Salary Range:
$105,760 - $196,317

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilites of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances, including but not limited to experience, internal equity, and location.
