Business Development Representative Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to create and maintain long-term relationships with both existing and potential customers. You will identify and secure new sales opportunities, as well as grow revenue from existing customers. You will also be expected to work both independently and within a team environment to meet and exceed sales goals.

Business Development Representative Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through a variety of methods such as cold-calling, emailing, networking, and attending industry events
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Monitor market trends, industry news, and customer feedback to develop new sales opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and quotes
  • Track customer accounts and update customer information in the customer relationship management system

Business Development Representative Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales and business development
  • At least two years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
