POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Relationship Manager will foster strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively with executives, and drive continuous improvement in IT and non-IT business partnerships. This role involves strategic portfolio management, roadmap development, budgeting, risk mitigation, and championing innovation to deliver value-driven solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the BRM discipline at Ardent with the formation of this new team!
Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects, aligning them with strategic objectives and overseeing engagement aspects such as planning, resources, budget, and risks. Develop project scope and charter based on business needs, considering budget, schedule, resources, and goals.
  • Align IT services and solutions with business objectives, ensuring that IT initiatives contribute to the organization's overall goals and strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various business units, understanding their needs and advocating for IT solutions that meet those needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the IT department and business stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
  • Developing multi-year roadmaps for the area of business assigned, in partnership with business leaders.
  • Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful IT-business partnerships, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts within the BRM function, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies to better serve business needs.
  • Utilize advanced financial analysis techniques to assess project viability, guide investment decisions, and maximize returns on investment while minimizing risks and costs throughout project execution.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives to mature and elevate the PMO’s project management capabilities.
  • 25% travel may be required
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors' degree
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • BRM Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and implementing large healthcare projects (15 or more people)
  • Experience working with senior leaders, executives, and business owners, and a proven track record of successful implementations
  • Experience analyzing business and systems needs to develop project plans including tasks, resource estimates, team members, deliverables (e.g. test and training plans), procedures and design documents
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and ServiceNow
