Closer/Post-Closer - FLEX Position

We are actively seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a closer/post-closer for a flex position. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient closing of loans while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new things and doesn’t want monotony since they would be switching between closing, disclosures and post-closing.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of TRID rules and regulations is a must

• Review upcoming loans for closing to ensure all conditions are met and our requirements are complete
• Finalize closing costs in multiple states and for various loan programs (they all differ)
• Be familiar with multiple state customs and practices to ensure all state-required documents are sent to closing
• Generating initial disclosure packages
• Reviewing packages post-closing to prepare for shipping to warehouse and investors
• Experience with ComplianceEase is a plus, but not required
• Ability to navigate and learn LOS systems quickly
• Maintain open communication with internal and external parties to the transactions
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and efficiently
• Ability to think logically, outside of the box, and be fast on your feet

Skills and Requirements

• 3 years experience as a closer
• Ability to work with different states and various types of loans
• Ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure document accuracy

• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to multitask and be comfortable working at a fast pace
• Able to focus on the present moment
• Adept at managing multiple files simultaneously
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
• Efficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
• Familiarity with mortgage software and systems
• Knowledge of loan processes is a plus
• Provide responsive and helpful support to borrowers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong willingness to learn
