The Communications and Marketing Coordinator (CMC) serves as direct support to the Chief People Officer. The CMC completes administrative tasks in areas such as human resources, marketing, and advertising. This CMC works to bolster marketing effort from the inside and outside. From recruiting top talent to creating advertising and collateral materials. This position is integral to the company’s success both internally and externally. To be successful in this role, the employee must be well-versed in the company product, employees, and able to juggle multiple projects at once and able to produce data driven results.

The Details :

  • Use new properties and deleted reports to keep the project profile sheet updates with “key” properties
  • Ensure changes to print and digital materials are communicated to and in stock with appropriate people/departments
  • Conduct research calls/emails to competitors to gain information used to guide other marketing decisions and planning
  • Research and keep updated on branding and promotion of other businesses within the multifamily, HOA, and mobile park industries to gain a competitive edge
  • Maintain and grow email marketing and existing client database
  • Implement and maintain a compliant subscribe/unsubscribe program
  • Research, write, design, and produce scheduled email/printed mail campaigns
  • Develop a process to track and communicate results
  • Gather customer feedback and provide analysis monthly and quarterly
  • Survey staff as new marketing items are rolled out to gather feedback of the look/feel of the brand
  • Ensure office hours and closures are updated across all platforms
  • Create, manage, and post on social media to coincide with marketing communication
  • Pull monthly marketing statistics and give analysis
  • Bring on top talent through recruiting and interviewing job candidates for all departments
  • Manage and keep company asset tracker up to date with inventory
  • Set up and wipe company cell phones for new and terminated employees
  • Coordinate the return of company property
  • Research and make suggestions for compensation analysis of pay bands to keep current and competitive with market
  • Perform HR file audits
  • Create and present on-going trainings on various policies, tasks, and learning objectives
  • Work with department head to assist employees and facilitate the annual review process
  • Service as backup for department head during period on absence
  • Have a complete understanding of company policies and practices.

The Needs :
- A laid back but hard driven work ethic. Micromanaging is a hard no from the CPO.
- Trust. The cornerstone to any relayionship.
- Occasional, as needed, trips to our Columbus office if things are needed mailed, picked up, coordinated for employees/marketing purposes. I promise this is truly only occasionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in marketing communications or related roles
- Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms and tools
- Proficiency in Wix, Google Analytics and other analytics tools
- Familiarity with print advertising, email marketing, and performance marketing strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
