Job Description

The Compensation Analyst provides support in analyzing, developing, implementing, administering and monitoring of VCU Health System Compensation programs.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:

Completed course work toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred

Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Compensation, Human Resources, or Finance with a working knowledge of compensation principles, practices and regulatory issues Proficient use of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience PREFERRED:

Previous work experience in Compensation specifically in compensation analysis and salary administration

Previous Workday experience

Education/training REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related field from an accredited program

Education/training PREFERRED: N/A

Independent action(s) required:

Prepares various reports. Administers compensation programs and maintains logs. Participates in salary surveys, conducts job evaluations and reviews salary actions.
