WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Regulatory Affairs Consultant will coordinate and prepare document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of the organization. Facilitate proposed federal regulations, advise on impact of such regulations on the company, and submit adverse action reports. Provide advice and counsel with respect to compliance of applicable regulations. Represent company in dealing with government and other interested agencies. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

1. Prepare and follow up on new product approval applications and ongoing product regulatory reporting to relevant government regulatory agencies.
2. Act as the regulatory liaison with government regulatory agencies on behalf of the organization.
3. Participate on project teams, providing appropriate information on regulatory issues, and obtain needed information to meet regulation requirements.
4. Participate in and/or review results of regulatory audits of organization’s and/or contractors’ facilities and assist with coordinating, compiling, and submitting responses to any audit observations.
5. Ensure organizational compliance with relevant government regulations. Track relevant legislation and regulations, maintain records on public laws and regulatory policies of importance to the organization, and keep organization management and staff informed regarding legislative and regulatory actions and requirements.
6. Typically has unit-specific responsibilities within the scope of the job.

Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects. Adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
100% Remote - Candidate can live anywhere in the U
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$111,000
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field required.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with computer desktop applications and ability to type with speed and accuracy required. Strong organizational skills, document management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks required. Must be detail oriented. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to identify, resolve and escalate issues if necessary. Must display tact, diplomacy and professionalism in difficult situations and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.

  • Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
