Role Description:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will immediately become an important contributor to the Oak Street People Experience (HR) Team. This individual will partner with the Talent Acquisition team to facilitate the movement of candidates through the recruitment process. The TA Coordinator's responsibilities will entail everything from posting open positions to job boards, coordinating candidate travel, creating offer letters, conducting background checks and ensuring all pre-employment requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. This individual will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others. Refers to recruiters and other staff as appropriate

  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc. and maintain the team's agenda

  • Assist candidates with onboarding documentation and information

  • Assist candidates with background checks and pre-employment screening processes

  • Organize referral bonus requests

  • Create job advertisements on recruiting platforms

  • Complete new hire education and license verification

  • Assist with organizing and uploading candidate information on internal database

  • Prepare reports on recruitment activity and new hire metrics

  • Communicate updates to candidates throughout the onboarding process

  • Assist with Talent Acquisition projects as needed

  • Assist with recruiting as needed

  • Other duties, as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Human Resource, Talent Acquisition, or Recruiter in corporate environment

  • Associate's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience working in fast paced environments

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Experience using Jobvite applicant tracking system preferred

  • US work authorization
