Overview

We are actively seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team and work alongside a leading provider of managed healthcare programs.

In this role, you will answer calls from members, member representatives, providers, health plan employees, and clients regarding Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

  • Complete research using provided resources to ensure accurate and quality service is being delivered
  • Remain within CMS guidelines while adhering to department internal policies and procedure
  • Complete outbound calls as necessary for surveys and resolution of outstanding issues
  • Educate callers on all vital information and alternatives as it related to the call to promote one call resolution
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years customer service experience
  • Ability to work overtime as the need arises including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare customer service experience
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures with dispensing pharmacies
  • Understanding of Facets, AS400 applications and TMG Call software

The hourly rate for this position is between $11.88-$17.55 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
