Job Summary:
This role will provide expertise and guidance on assessments, security issues, and projects. This role will also have an active role in the development of the EAA team and it’s team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducts computer investigations.
  • Responds and/or mitigates security breaches and attacks to the infrastructure.
  • Conducts vulnerability and threat analysis for the environment.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
  • Anomaly Detection (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in Anomaly Detection in challenging and complex situations. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results. Consistently delivers results in a creative and imaginative manner while setting a standard for others. Contributes in the development of Anomaly Detection best practices for the organization. Evaluates and recommends Intrusion Detection Systems software. Implements and upgrades Intrusion Detection Systems software.
  • Incident Response (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in Security Incident Response in challenging and complex situations. Often takes a lead role in responding to sensitive and other critical breaches of security. Contributes to the development of Security Incident Response best practices for the organization. Serves as the focal point for reviewing information system security issues to incidents that have company-wide impact. Prepares guidelines for establishing and maintaining the security incident response plan. Recommends security strategies to address incidents [e.g. use of intrusion detection tools, penetration testing, etc] to appropriate executive management. Promotes security awareness regarding new incidents.
  • Malware Analysis (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in Malware Analysis in challenging and complex situations. Evaluates, recommends and assembles the Malware Analysis toolkit for the company. Contributes to the development of Malware Analysis best practices for the organization.
  • Network Forensics (Advanced): Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in applying Network Forensics in challenging and complex situations. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results. Consistently delivers Network Forensics products and services in a creative and imaginative manner while setting a standard for others.
  • Vulnerability Assessments (Advanced): Reviews mission-critical business applications and IT architectures to determine key vulnerabilities and countermeasures that can affect the organization's bottom line through theft of data, tampering of operations, or denial of service. Helps establish security best practices for the organization.
