The Supplier Risk and Cybersecurity team within the larger Raytheon Supply Chain & Operations organization is seeking a Data Analyst to support projects in the areas of data mining and visualization, development of key risk indicators and other risk analytics across the supply chain organization.

This position is responsible for supporting the supply chain risk management process across Raytheon and develop new processes based on emerging technologies and changes across the supply chain industry systems. These processes span a full spectrum of risk factors such as internal business impact, natural disaster impact, cybersecurity impact, geopolitical impact and financial impact.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and achieve strategic objectives in a matrix environment.
  • Frequent and consistent interaction with functional and program leadership.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier risk indicators and determine impact to the business (including but not limited to: disaster/extreme weather and financial risks)
  • Identify new methods to improve data availability and predictive capabilities to mitigate supply chain risk.
  • Enable data-driven discovery and decision-making to collaborate with key stakeholders for business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders as part of projects focused on the identification and implementation of business process improvements.
  • Leverage a variety of internal business systems/tools, metrics, and/or reports to compile and analyze data to provide solution-based recommendations that will improve key stakeholders’ decision-making processes.
  • Generate, present, and influence reporting, training, and related communication.
  • Design and develop methods, processes, and tools to consolidate and analyze large, internal data sets from multiple sources.
  • Engage with the business to ensure new initiatives are appropriately assessed and managed through to delivery.

Required Experience and Capabilities:

  • Understand and create reporting related to cybersecurity regulations, data applicable to the business, incident response processes, etc.
  • Ability to travel within the United States not more than 10%.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, operations, engineering, computer science, quality, finance, and/or contracts.
  • Experience leading/participating in cross functional teams or project management.
  • Analyze financial data and risk factors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics and metric development.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.

Education:

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years

prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Previous employment in an analytics role that supports a supply chain organization, Manufacturing or production team.
  • Experience working proposals for subcontracts and with material program managers.
  • Use of SAP applications (PRISM/APEX/SQVI/BW/WEBI).

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
