DEI CONSULTANT (CONTRACT)

Raleigh-Durham, NC/ Greensboro, NC/Charlotte, NC

 

Note: Role to start Jan 2025

How You’ll Make an Impact:

The ideal candidate should be well versed in DEI and have competencies in: strategy and learning & development. They should be excited to join a team of passionate, forward-thinking leaders who bring actionable learning and consultative solutions to employers and program organizers. If you’re keen on supporting real action on DEI in the workplace and delivering high-impact DEI initiatives and solutions that power internal and external DEI strategy, we want to hear from you.  Below are areas of impact for the consultant:

 

  • DEI discovery & assessment 

  • DEI strategic plan & stakeholder identification

  • DEI Learning & Development 

    • Understanding and ability to support learners of all levels – senior leadership to middle management to entry level 

    • Strong understanding of cultivating a culture of belonging 

  • DEI Leadership Coaching 

  • ERG/BRG launch & standardization 

  • DEI content development 



 

Role Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant demonstrated & practical experience as a DEI Manager or Consultant 

  • Executive coaching certification or DEI certification (highly desired)

  • Ability to support change management initiatives and processes that support people, culture, and marketplace 

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage, inspire, and invoke action in program participants (expertise in-person and virtual)

  • Understanding of root causes that are affecting under-represented and historically marginalized groups and implementing structural changes to support talent practices that increase retention and representation at all levels of diverse talent

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data on the experience of diverse populations through surveys, engagement interviews and exit interviews to determine where there are opportunities to drive equitable behaviors that will support the engagement and retention of diverse employees

  • Confidently advise, consult, and support: DEI leadership, HR leadership, Executives, etc.

  • Must be willingly to travel domestically 1-2 times a quarter

  • Must be willing to actively contribute to Reimagine Talent’s thought leadership content in support of marketing, branding, and business development

Hourly rate: ($55-$65 per hour)
