Job Description

As an Digital Business Development Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, and new business development. In addition, you will be closing sales for promotional advertising space on products which will be distributed by Harris Teeter, ShopRite, successful local independent pharmacies, and other reputable grocery and pharmacy chains throughout the United States. This is a low/no pressure sale with quick closes. You will be working from your home office. We are a proven, 30+ year old business and are looking for folks to lead us into the next 30 years. Responsibilities

  • Develop and compile leads from various sources.
  • Use email and phone calls to support the customer lifecycle including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, post-purchase, and transactional emails.
  • Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Manage and execute email marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading global brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers.
  • Constantly look for new ways to improve overall programs through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing an email marketing program.
  • Sales experience, preferably in advertising, marketing, or similar fields.
  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance (CAN-SPAM).
  • Proven work experience in prospecting and business development, with an emphasis on new business development, and compiling email address lists.
  • Experience building an email marketing campaign from scratch.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
