Aon Affinity is hiring a Digital Product Manager!


The Digital Product Manager at Aon Affinity will lead a cross-function team, collaborate with business units and partners to develop, test, measure, and continuously improve digital assets.

The Digital Product Manager plays a key role in the rollout of various digital products. This includes starting with a consumer and agent-facing platform that empowers policyholders to perform common tasks via a web-based portal.


What your day will look like:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap for capabilities within our digital platform. Conduct strategic analyses, customer/competitor research, and marketing sizing.
  • Own customer discovery and continuous evaluation of product-market fit. Collect, analyze, and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative user data.
  • Develop, test, and launch new products and features. Analyze and lead business and product performance to meet/exceed defined team, department, and company goals.
  • Communicate clearly with multiple internal and external stakeholders; set appropriate expectations, and provide clear updates on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Build strong, collaborative working relationships with designers, engineers, operations, sales, marketing, and other internal teams to ship high-quality, user-centric products.
  • Manage risk; monitor project process, make adjustments. Seek continuous process, product, and team improvement.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic and leadership capabilities and a willingness to work alongside their team to act as the primary advocate for end-users.
  • Previous experience acting as the 'voice of the user' and demonstrated ability to establish a clear vision and 'the story' to key team members across product stages.
  • Leadership experience with cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, subject matter experts, product analysts, UX designers, IT architects, sales and marketing teams, and external technology partners).
  • Decision-making abilities to solve organizational needs with technology, process, product, and planning. Resourceful with ability to manage challenging priorities across a multi-phased sprint and release plan. Anticipate needs and improve backlog of product features.
  • Belief in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team.
  • Flexible and able to embrace change and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience within digital product or platform development.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,200 to $140,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
