Job Description

The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized Dispatcher to provide administrative and coordination support to the Service Department. The main role of this position is to schedule, coordinate, and dispatch service technicians. As a Dispatcher you will often be the initial contact, so having good people skills is a must. You must be able to work cross functionally across the organization and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate technician schedules and prioritize dispatches based off urgency, skill set, location, ext
  • Ensure that all maintenance, repair, commissioning, and other services are delivered on-time and within the scope
  • Organize work orders, customer requests, revenues and expenses for services performed
  • Verify technicians have required work scope, parts, tools, customer contact, ext. to guarantee efficiency on all dispatches
  • Oversee communications within company assigned regions
  • Be the main point of contact between our customer/technical support team, manufactures and the customer
  • Participate in troubleshooting system errors to dispatch appropriate personnel
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors and approve invoices for accounting
  • Maintain external ticketing systems when working with 3rd party vendors
  • Ensure each client is given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needs
  • Mentor and assist with onboarding new staff in the service team
  • Attend meetings and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in a timely manner
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Your Experience and Capabilities

  • 2+ years of dispatching experience
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Experience with software solutions to manage service deployment and efficiency, such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and dispatching software(s)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, including outlook
  • Experience in the EV Charging industry is a plus
