The Donor Recruiter position is primarily responsible for screening of potential egg donor candidates. If you meet the requirements listed below and have a desire to work in women's health, we welcome your application!
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Explains donor program details and provides information to prospective donors via telephone, email, and virtual consultation.
- Explains key milestones of the egg donor journey, including required testing, points of denial, IVF cycle, etc.
- Liaise with Inception donor recruitment team for intake and management of donor applicants approved for clinic.
- Coordinates donor screening and testing to determine if prospective donors are candidates for egg donation.
- Establishes an ongoing relationship with prospective and established donors in an effort to provide education throughout donor screening and cycle process.
- Able to articulate information of medical nature; may include but not limited to explanation of hormone medication, injections, medical testing, and surgical procedure to remove eggs from ovaries.
- Receives and reviews donor test results before presentation to physician for sign off.
- Ensures that donor is compliant with FDA requirements governing egg donor cycles, including but not limited to the following: reviewing FDA questionnaire with donor, following up on flagged or non-acceptable answered questions, approving questionnaires in clinic’s regulatory compliance software, confirming that FDA physical exam is completed as required and all necessary blood tests are completed.
- Coordinates medical records requests as needed for applicants with previous donation history or medical history that warrants records review.
- Attends meetings to discuss applicant process/management; maintains relevant spreadsheets/documentation.
- Participates in professional development activities to keep current with trends and best practices.
- Cross-trained and provides coverage for other coordinators when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a health care related field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience, including knowledge of the healthcare industry, sales and/or marketing, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
- Experience with Outlook, Excel and Photoshop preferred.
