Purpose:

The DTC SEO & Digital Content Specialist will be responsible primarily for search engine optimization implementation work and strategy. Other responsibilities will include implementing new pages on the website, writing content, data analysis, reporting, improving user experience, content marketing tasks, project and support ticket management, dashboard upkeep, and analytics tool management. This position will work primarily with the Direct-to-Consumer, website, and brand marketing teams. This position reports to the Manager, Ecommerce D2C.

Nature & Scope:

This position sits on the Direct-to-Consumer Ecommerce team working to improve organic search engine traffic and grow SEO share of voice for the Deltafaucet.com website. This will be a hands-on role working through sophisticated content management and e-commerce systems to build new pages and user experiences. Comfort working with HTML and CSS will be important as well as a detailed understanding of how systems are coordinated to deliver our web experiences is important. This role will handle day-to-day tasks to implement standard methodologies on Delta Faucet Company (DFC) websites, work with our agency partners and colleagues to deliver improvements, and report the impact of relevant activities. This person will require the skills to drive action, whether working individually or with others, and who is comfortable taking ownership of all things SEO for a highly respected, large, and consumer-focused brand.

Principal Accountabilities

• Search Engine Optimization – Use tools and data to assess Search Engine and User Experience optimization opportunities. Understand the larger SEO strategy and proactively work to carry it out. Work individually and with diverse teams and agency partners to implement fixes and improvements, manage support tickets for tasks, perform QA (Quality Assurance), and support other ongoing UX and SEO-related work. Build content and well-designed pages that help improve the site experience and increase ranking opportunities. Work with other teams to ensure that new content meets brand and legal standards. Look for opportunities to get new links to the website.
• Analysis and Reporting – Perform analysis to find opportunities to improve UX and SEO on Deltafaucet.com. Report on the results of ongoing work. Work on creating and updating dashboards. Perform ongoing data quality assurance tasks. Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support teams throughout DFC supplying consultative advice based on data.
• Continuous Improvement – Test and conduct quality checks on DFC websites regularly, report findings and work with team members to improve UX & D2C conversion. Stay up to date with trends in the

search engine optimization space, use insights to influence future site functionality initiatives, and remain current with industry-standard processes. Be open to taking on new assignments that will stretch your abilities and potentially move you out of your comfort zone.

Education & Experience / Skills

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an emphasis in marketing, IT (Information Technology), or a similar field. Solid grasp of technical and on-site SEO standard methodologies with examples of growing search engine traffic for consumer-focused websites is necessary. Experience making updates to a website within a content management system – Drupal and Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus. Knowledge of user experience best practices and content marketing strategy is highly desired. The candidate must have expert-level experience using relevant SEO and digital analytics tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Google Search Console. Hands-on GA4 (Google Analytics 4) and Google Tag Manager experience are a plus. Experience creating analytics dashboards, analyzing large datasets, presenting challenges and opportunities to marketing teams to improve user experience and SEO, and copywriting for websites is desired.

The candidate should have proven written and oral communication skills. The position will require clear communication between cross-functional teams. The candidate should also have proven initiative and close attention to detail.
