Job Description

TOP PRIORITY: Amazon/Google ad manager (for Christmas book series and new app)

DREAM: Complete e-Marketing manager

We are a small publisher who produced a LARGE series of books last year: Twas the Night Before Christmas translated into 20 languages. 80 volunteers from 20 countries joined in the effort as a celebration of the poem's 200th birthday! We were honored guests at the Christmas festivities in Troy, NY, where Santa's story was first published in 1823.

Now, we need to market this 200th anniversary book series annually. Last year, we had events, radio in upstate NY and Italy, email blasts to schools/moms/bloggers, Amazon ads (for the English language book only), and social media.

We have 20 paperback books, ebooks, and special "enhanced" ebooks that include a narration of the book in the various languages, as well as animation. An iOS and Android app is coming that includes ALL languages in one place (with narration/animation).

Languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian (with Milanese, Neapolitan, Salentino and Sicilian dialects), Malayalam, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Sinhala, Spanish and Ukrainian.

Our marketing strategy is to market to English-speaking countries: USA, Canada, UK, and Australia.

Eventually we would like to reach Christian communities in other countries. The challenge is that they are not yet familiar with the poem that is so famous in the English-speaking world. The task would be double: 1) introducing them to the poem, 2) asking them to buy our version.
