WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Conduct an investigation and assessment regarding payment discrepancies.

• Identify and implement necessary actions to ensure appropriate outcomes are met.

• Conduct and coordinate third party audits.

• Advise and inform management of reimbursement issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED - Required

• Associate's Degree - Preferred

• 4 years Emergency Room coding/ charging, Revenue Cycle, billing experience - Required, Or

• 4 years Emergency Room clinical experience - Required, or

• Coding Certification Required:

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) - Preferred

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - Within 1 year

• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - Within 1 year
