Job Description

Overview:
Responsible for contributing to the success of Clean Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) by providing business systems decision support to the organization to drive business growth and improve profitability. The ERP Analyst will be working directly with users to resolve Level 2 and above requests/issues in ViewPoint. The candidate will be responsible to manage/maintain and administer Enterprise resource data and make sure operations run smoothly across all IEA entities. In addition to ongoing administration the candidate will also be assigned special projects that involve but not limited to Process Improvement, Customization to Application & Reports, Data Analysis and system upgrade/migration.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain current knowledge and understanding of ERP application
  • Lead and analyze design sessions in prototyping new system to enhance business process, operations and information process flows
  • Design and troubleshoot custom reports utilizing SQL and SAP Crystal reports
  • Gather business requirements and understand business problems from users to build project scope
  • Identify solutions that will help resolve business issue or optimize current business process
  • Create and execute project plans using appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting related to ERP system
  • Coordinate with service providers for issue resolution, customization and upgrade
  • Create required Change Management Documentation to facilitate standard procedures
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst in an engineering or technology-focused organization
  • Previous experience in a construction or engineering-related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools, (ie. Smart Sheets)
  • Familiarity with data analysis techniques, including SQL and data visualization tools
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
Working Environment:
  • When visiting jobsites the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
  • This work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises
