This role provides record to report (R2R) support for a manufacturing client. This will include the collecting, processing and delivering of relevant, timely and accurate information used for providing strategic, financial and operational feedback to understand how a business is performing. It also covers the steps involved in preparing and reporting the overall accounts which are typically stored in a general ledger and managed by a controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Client Delivery to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with contractual service level obligations preparing balance sheet reconciliations and evaluating all balance sheet accounts, and prepare month end closing journal entries.
• Responsible for updating and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures and developing and maintaining Job Aids to ensure high quality delivery.
• Perform data entry, analysis and research in various systems and tracking tools.
• Apply knowledge of processes and related systems to assist in resolving issues and problems.
• Anticipate, identify, and assess complex issues and problems and bring to the attention of the manager along with remediation plan of action to bring the situation to resolution.
• Evaluate Standard Operating Procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm ET

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years financial accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Functional expertise in record to report and balance sheet analysis.
• Experience in Avante or JD Edwards ERP Systems, and Blackline software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

Professional Skill Requirements:

• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent communication written and oral and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
• Degree in business, finance or equivalent business experience.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
