Position Details

Provide high quality financial support and expertise to mid-sized nonprofit behavioral health agency. Our finance team is instrumental in ensuring that program and agency leaders have the financial tools available to ensure data driven planning and decision making. This position works closely with program directors and finance staff to manage program financials, funder reviews, and budgets. And partners with other finance team members, leadership and CFO in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

Responsibilities

• Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets,
• Financial trends and cost analysis,
• Supervising finance team members,
• Assist with leading the annual financial statement and federal audits and annual budgeting process.
• Responsible for leading the finance team with projects including procuring new budget and accounting software,
• Cost accounting and other analysis using multiple software systems.

Position eligible for remote, in-person or hybrid (remote / in-office blend) work based on candidate's preference.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related degree required
• Proven work experience as “Accounting Manager,” “Accounting Supervisor,” or similar role, ideally a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience
• Excellent people skills and able to build strong team relationships
• Must possess superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, including strong skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Must possess the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work within / meet strict external deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in non-profit setting strongly preferred
• Experience with Sage100 preferred
