About the Position

A Financial Services Intake Representative ensures all information about students' financial resources, such as financial aid, veteran’s benefits, direct bill, cash, and tuition reimbursement, is properly completed and other required information is submitted timely and in compliance with established federal and state laws and University policies.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

What You Will Do

1. Receive and verify financial documents for completeness and accuracy based on internal standard operating procedures to clear students to begin classes. Collaborate with appropriate enrollment representative to resolve issues when documentation is incomplete.

2. Document notes and case type in the applicable University system.

3. Determine appropriate specialty and payment option for each student to correctly and timely complete the initial setup of students’ accounts.

4. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity of information
  • Demonstrates a capacity to embrace repetitive tasks with diligence and commitment, recognizing their importance in maintaining data quality and consistency over time
  • Able to adhere to schedules, plan workflows appropriately, and minimize distractions to maximize productivity
  • Adaptable to unforeseen obstacles, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to facilitate various aspects of data processing tasks

Pay Range

The hourly pay rate range is $12.79 (minimum), $17.84 (midpoint), and $22.88 (maximum). The annualized amount, not including eligible overtime pay, is $27,700 (minimum), $38,600 (midpoint), and $49,500 (maximum).*

  • Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
