Currently, Alliant Health Solutions, a "2024 Best Place to Work and Healthiest Employer", seeks a Focused QIO Services Manager. This role is contingent upon award of contract. In accordance with customer contractual requirements, the Focused QIO Services (FQS) Manager is a member of a professional multi-disciplinary team responsible for supporting quality improvement initiatives across the QIN-QIO region, influencing positive change within the health care community, and accomplishing the objectives of the QIN-QIO contract. The QII Manager is responsible for leading improvements at the local level across the provider community.
In this role, the ideal candidate will:
- Lead FQS team to adhere to CMS deadlines and documentation requirements in the CMS-designated system(s) and Salesforce within 24 hours.
- Provide leadership and support to direct reports for the use of the quality improvement methodology, implementation science, healthcare facilitation, intervention effectiveness, behavioral science, and other Alliant-adopted strategies to understand, measure, and predict contract performance through timely and effective measures.
- Collaborate with clinical subject matter experts to support intervention identification for FQS referrals, when needed.
- Facilitate and support the business review process and other Program Management Office (PMO) directives to ensure standardization within the department.
- Develop and train staff on standard operating procedures for FQS work that adheres to CMS requirements.
- Perform, at a minimum, monthly audits of Alliant Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and CMS system(s) for tracking and monitoring staff and subcontractor performance.
- Promote rapid cycle improvement techniques in daily work.
- Hire, coach, train, develop, evaluate, discipline, and make recommendations for terminations, subject to management and Human Resources approval.
- Assign FQS referrals within specified time frame to ensure CMS requirements, such as onsite visits, are met.
- Work with leadership in determination of appropriate projects and/or assignments and delegates or manages accordingly.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this role include:
- Knowledge and experience with quality improvement methodology
- Knowledge and experience with using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Ability to interpret data
- Experience in group facilitation
- Proven ability and experience building outreach and meaningful connections to underrepresented communities and target populations
- Ability to express ideas and convey information quickly and effectively in a verbal and written manner
- Ability to think creatively, analyze problems, and find innovative approaches to problem resolution
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to function independently with minimal supervision, yet able to work effectively in a team environment

Education, experience and training required and preferred for the position are below:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Education, or other related discipline; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of quality improvement experience and working with healthcare providers
- Experience leading a team of professionals
- Training in project coordination and quality improvement methodology
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in healthcare management, public health, or other related healthcare discipline; or equivalent work experience
- Certification in healthcare quality
- Previous QIO experience
