Cash Application Specialist Position Summary

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the application of cash payments to the appropriate client accounts for the billing department. Primary responsibilities include posting deposits, reconciling daily input, and resolving all discrepancies and variances. In addition, the Cash Application Specialist provides assistance to Trinity Health Home Services billing staff and management related to special projects, audits and monthly reporting.

• Pay range: min $15.65 mid $20.63 and max $25.61

Minimum Qualifications

• The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a minimum of two years of current data processing experience in a medical office setting or other automated work environment with at least one year of cash application experience.
• Must have a strong knowledge of general business office functions, strong organizational skills and microcomputer usage is required.
• Must have a working knowledge of standard office equipment.
• The incumbent must possess the following: ability to meet strict deadlines with high level of accuracy, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in highly automated setting, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
