General Manager, Ingredient Sales

Role Description

This is a remote role (personal residence office) - however, travel to Marina, CA and customers/vendors may be up to 40% of time.

You'll focus on maximizing the sales and distribution of ginger and turmeric ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers, ingredient distributors and contract packers. You'll develop The Ginger People ingredients portfolio to achieve annual volume and profit targets by building customer opportunities through strategic relationships and through growing opportunities for new value-added products. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

MUST HAVES:

BA/BS in business, marketing or related field, MBA an advantage

5+ years’ experience in industrial food ingredient sales, natural food industry a plus

Strong understanding of ingredient sales

Comfortable with team environment of an entrepreneurial business

Travel up to 40% of time

Base salary: $120,000 - $140,000
