Overview:
Create Better Health (Utah’s SNAP-Ed), housed at Utah State University Extension, is seeking a highly creative and motivated Graphic Designer (Graphic Designer II) to join our state team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a vital role in visually communicating our research, innovation, programming, to a variety of audiences including community members, staff, stakeholders, and other policy makers. You will be responsible for creating modern, visually compelling, engaging, and audience adapted design materials in a timely manner.

This position is remote work within the state of Utah. Work outside of the state of Utah is subject to review and approval by the University prior to a job offer being extended.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Create Better Health state team on goals for designed materials.
  • Develop creative and professional visual materials, including but not limited to print collateral, digital content, infographics, presentations, reports, and social media assets.
  • Maintain and enhance ASPIRE's brand identity and ensure consistency across all design materials.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for visual content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design software to continuously improve design quality.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work efficiently.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field plus 4 years of experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Create Better Health branding and image.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of web design, UI/UX design, and multimedia production is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Advertised Salary: $40 Per hour ADA:
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
