Job Description

GDIT has an amazing opportunity in our Human Resources Team. As a HR Compliance Analyst, you will help ensure GDIT meets its obligations as a federal contractor. Our work depends on a Compliance Analyst joining our team to provide resources, processes, and strategies that ensure programming success and mitigate risk in affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, and other HR compliance areas at GDIT.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As part of a three-person remote team, the HR Compliance Analyst:
  • Supports internal compliance reviews to identify risks to the company and instances of non-compliance with GDIT policies, federal and/or state laws and regulations.
  • Supports external compliance reviews of affirmative action programs by compiling and reviewing data and reports, performing data analysis, proofreading documents, and reviewing submission documents for completion and accuracy.
  • Keeps business units and functions updated on regulatory requirements, documentation processes, and regulatory filing information.
  • Responds to documentation request from internal and external stake holders in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of essential laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for assigned compliance reporting based on the extensive collection, analysis, and summary of complex data sets.
  • Builds expertise through research of laws and regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins, federal updates, news briefs, and other sources of information.
  • Updates and maintains HR compliance related documentation as assigned.
  • Assists with other HR compliance and recordkeeping projects and internal audits as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Required Experience: 6+ years combined Human Resources/Recruiting experience which can include a combination of education/certifications and direct work experience
  • Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Advanced Excel skills utilizing pivot tables and formulas.
    • Basic understanding of human resources policies and regulations related to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
    • Experience creating and presenting information in PowerPoint or similar software.
    • Experience analyzing data and reaching logical conclusions.
    • Experience using an ATS/HRIS, including employee, candidate/recruiting, and reporting functions.
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
    • Knowledge and experience creating and/or implementing Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in Falls Church, VA office)

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $59,500 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
