The role you’ll contribute:

HR Specialist is responsible for data base management, physician recruitment website management, identifying potential physician candidates, tracking information about prospective and available physicians, preparing monthly reports and recruitment assistance payment to private practices, and following up on physician inquiries as may be required. Provides support to the Director and Physician Recruiter in their efforts to recruit and retain physicians on behalf of Advent Health. Additional duties include marketing initiatives with new social media, development of Facebook, Twitter, and revised website and maintenance of those accounts. Specialist also provides additional support as a Recruiter to help with the following: phone screening and interviewing / site visit itineraries/ meeting physicians on site visits / follow up with candidates post site visits / reference checking / follow up communication with administrators. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Sourcing - Utilizes available tools and resources such as PracticeLink, internet, website, print ads, emails, etc to identify and establish physician candidates. Also responds to inquires from potential candidates in timely manner regardless of opportunity opening at AH.
  • Updates and maintains physician recruitment database (Kontact Intelligence) including CV’s, job opportunity descriptions, campus information, etc. Monitors PR website to ensure proper flow of information to public. Also utilizes KI to educate program directors of residencies/fellowships of available opportunities.
  • Social Media – has a marketing role in updating Facebook, Twitter and other FH approved social media accounts that drive candidates to the AH Physician Recruitment website. Learns new initiatives and technology that develops website for increased traffic.
  • Recruitment - Assists Recruiter and Director with various recruitment activities and searches by: conducting phone interviews, screening potential candidates, engaging candidates on site visits and developing and scheduling itineraries. Will also perform reference checks when needed and provide appropriate follow up to administration when needed.
  • Tracks monthly financial assistance provided by Advent Health to newly recruited physicians under the Income Guaranty model. Provides necessary reporting to campus administrators upon request. Distributes financial assistance checks to private practices after reconciliation of monthly receipts from practices.
  • Provides designated recruitment support services for other AHS or Advent Health satellite campuses as may be requested by the Director of Physician Recruitment. Maintains proper CV list of available candidates for outlying campuses in KI and sends CV’s upon requests from regional recruiters.
  • Facilitates scheduling of and preparation of materials for Director and/or Physician Recruiter for attendance at various career fairs or specialty conferences.
  • Designs recruitment ads for journals/publications/websites, flyers for events/conferences, and maintains an inventory of brochures, folders, and promotional items for seven campuses and service lines.

  • Minimum qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health care or a related field
