ABOUT THE JOB

  • Provides back up support with counsel to management and employees on all Talent Operations related areas including but not limited to employee relations issues, current employment laws and disciplinary action.
  • Provide full range of Talent Operations advice, support, consultation, and guidance, including application of HR policies and processes, to assigned departments and employees.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests from employees.
  • Works closely with Talent Operations Business Partners to actively support discussions and transfers best practices from different functions in the organization.
  • Works closely with Talent Operations Business Partners to ensure business needs are met.
  • Build credibility within organization departments by demonstrating an understanding of our strategy and challenges, aligning the departments' short-term and long-term people goals with our strategy, and facilitating and implementing initiatives to assist us in achieving success.
  • Maintains employee data in HRIS and employee benefit files.
  • Proactively supports the delivery of Talent Operations Processes, Policies and Procedures
  • Act as an effective member of the Talent Operations Department and assist internal and external customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Cross Train with other Talent Operations Employees to serve as backup during absences and peak work times.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered).

At least two years of generalist experience.

HRCI or SHRM certification preferred.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment

Personal traits of a high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty and integrity, and a demonstration of placing others in a place of high value.


Work ScheduleMonday - Friday 8:30a - 5:00p CST - potential need for afterhours depending on workload.
