Join us in the exciting role of Human Resources Generalist at Alora Behavioral Health (ABH). As a Human Resources Generalist at ABH, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's human capital needs. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.


This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work, with the only requirement being that you're based in California (CA) and available between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. On top of that, we're offering a competitive compensation package of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, along with fantastic benefits. Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees when necessary.
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Provide support to managers in addressing performance issues and implementing performance improvement plans.

Compliance and Policy Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed, communicating changes to employees.
  • Oversee workers' compensation processes, safety compliance, and governmental reporting obligations.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee files, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Process payroll in collaboration with the finance department.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to implement training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 2 plus years working in HR roles, preferably in the healthcare or behavioral analysis (ABA) industry.
  • Knowledge of California (CA) and Federal employment laws
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
