Job Description

(This position based on experience is offered hourly starting abetween $18.00 - $23.00 with a review after 90 days. There will be periodic bonuses offered i.e. holidays, etc. - Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance are all offerecd after 90 days.)

An insurance account manager acts as a customer service representative at insurance companies. With a focus on the customer service side of the insurance sales cycle, they manage and nurture customer relationships and lead all client communications. Their responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, explaining coverage and premiums, informing clients on any policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster. Account managers work closely with the Company owner to enable ongoing and future sales or renewals. An insurance account manager may focus on personal or small business / private insurance lines. 

Administrative assistants in healthcare settings can have a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Customer service: Providing quality service in person, by phone, and via email
  • Scheduling: Organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Communication: Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and managing email and electronic communications
  • Correspondence: Producing and distributing letters, memos, faxes, and forms
  • Filing: Developing and maintaining filing systems, such as for confidential client health records and charts
  • Reporting: Preparing reports and statistical data
  • Other tasks: Assisting with patient paperwork, processing insurance claims, ordering supplies, and more
  • update our database regularly to make sure we have current customer information readily available
