Job Title: iOS App Developer (Co-Founder)

Company Overview:
Peak Play is a social media platform that gives content creator new tools to help maximize their income. We are an early stage start up seeking resilient individuals.

Position Overview:
This is a founder level position and we are looking for someone to join us on this long journey. We are seeking a talented iOS App Developer to join our team and help us build exceptional mobile experiences for iOS devices. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about iOS development and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our iOS applications, ensuring they deliver superior performance, usability, and reliability. This position has two stages remote part-time and full-time in person. Due to early stage of our startup we will start this position off with part-time remote then later transfer to full time in person. During the part-time stage around 14 hours a week is expected for someone to be successful at this position.

Compensation Overview:

We are looking to grant 5 units of equity that starts its vesting schedule upon accomplishment of a key task. (5 units is ~5% equity in the company) More information regarding the vesting schedule available via interview. During the part-time stage the compensation is equity only. Upon transition to fulltime in person the position will be eligible for a salary of $100,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our iOS applications.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Swift for iOS platforms, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement UI/UX designs to create intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate with external APIs, databases, and third-party libraries to enhance application functionality and preformance.
  • Optimize application performance to ensure fast response times and smooth operation across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues, ensuring the reliability and stability of our applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development, and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan development tasks according to project requirements and timelines.
  • Update and maintain existing software for regulatory and policy compliance.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
