Job Description

  • Support potential clients/referrals through our intake process, including eligibility & benefits/insurance verification and obtain authorization for care
  • Onboard new clients across systems, uploading medical and other documentation
  • Ensure clinical team’s medical documentation and report submission meets funder deadline requirements
  • Track authorization deadlines, ensuring the clinical team submits documentation when it’s due and ensure updated authorizations are received on time and input across systems in a timely manner, supporting client timely access to care
  • Review accuracy and completeness of information requested and ensure that all supporting documents is submitted to the admin team and ultimately submitted to funders when needed (prior authorization, updated ongoing authorization, etc)
  • Track/audit all client authorization utilization to ensure client’s access care at all recommended levels, follow procedures around under-utilization to address administrative areas of need
  • Communicate with funders, case managers, physicians, specialists, and clients as needed
  • Provide client-related communication to caregivers and the program team as appropriate and as instructed
  • Answer and return calls, record and report messages
  • Manage administrative/client intake email inboxes
  • Supervise, train and support ABA Administrative Specialist(s) to ensure they are meeting all job requirements
  • Maintain record keeping, information updates, and electronic filing across systems
  • Manage all non-clinical client inquiries that come into the admin email inbox and as otherwise assigned
  • Communicate clearly, and effectively across all levels of the organization (i.e. employees, clients, and other stakeholders)
  • Multi-task and prioritize a wide range of projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in staff trainings and staff development days
  • Attaining and achieving position competencies in relation to role responsibilities, meeting quarterly goals
  • Participate in special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be independent, able to problem-solve and be a self-starter


Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year full-time equivalent experience in ABA therapy intake and authorizations.
Must have experience working effectively in Central Reach.
