Our top client in the travel/transportation industry is searching for a Lead Azure Solutions Engineer to join their team! This is a unique position as this role requires a blend of architecture and development while sitting across multiple teams and translating business requirements into solutions that align with the overall Data Strategy vision of the company. You will be responsible for defining tech roadmaps and strategies, ensuring cloud resources are optimized, and ensuring solutions are designed with operational excellence in mind and tuned to meet end-user expectations, along with the ability to scale with data demands.

Required:

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• 8+ Years of related experience and providing technical guidance for a solution
• Experience leading other technical leaders
• Experience working with Kong and the API office building new solutions
• Experience administering Cloud Data Resources (including, but not limited to: Azure Data Factory, DevOps, EventHub, Function Apps, and other Azure technologies)
• Experience with cloud data management tools (including, but not limited to: Databricks)
• Experience with Python, SQL, and Scala
• Experience building Data APIs

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
