Overview:

The Leader of Martech will lead the marketing technology COE responsible for product management, operations, and development of digital platforms that support all commercial functions in the Americas to drive customer engagement and sales growth for renowned brands such as American Standard, GROHE, and INAX. Primary areas of focus include content management (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM), product information management (PIM), digital asset management (DAM), and other marketing solutions used to achieve business objectives.

  • Define robust marketing technology and operations strategy to quickly and efficiently achieve business objectives in the ever-changing digital marketing landscape
  • Lead the successful planning and implementation of consumer and pro focused branded digital platforms, supported by innovative ideas that tie web, mobile, email, search, and traditional advertising together to provide marketing solutions based on customer insight and data
  • Drive strategic direction of digital product roadmap through aggregation of business requirements, project prioritization, and backlog management in alignment with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver best-in-class omni-channel brand and shopping experiences
  • Develop and maintain all marketing websites, microsites, web/mobile apps, third-party integrations, platform customizations, development process, version upgrades, and IT support, to deliver a seamless customer experience, leveraging new technologies, corporate platforms as required, and providing insight and analysis
  • Architect and maintain overall martech stack by integrating and customizing enterprise platforms such as CMS, CRM, PIM, DAM, CDP while leveraging AI/ML capabilities where possible to support all aspects of internal and external user engagement
  • Manage CMS operations including web development, UI/UX, IA, CRO, SEO, A/B testing, personalization, commerce, site merchandising, fraud management, review acquisition, where-to-buy, tagging/tracking, and web analytics
  • Manage CRM operations including sales/marketing automation, email/mobile/social marketing, lead management/nurturing/retargeting, customer segmentation, and live chat
  • Manage PIM operations including data governance, quality, integrity, compliance, and syndication of product catalog to external channels such as consumer websites, business portals, price books, advertising services, third-party solutions, and partner platforms such as Amazon Vendor Central, Home Depot IDM, Lowe’s IMA, Wayfair Partner, Ferguson, etc
  • Manage DAM operations including the storage and categorization of digital assets such as product images, infographics, marketing videos, specification sheets, installation instructions, CAD files, etc
  • Partner with Performance Marketing, Brand, Product, Sales, Service, IT, and other key stakeholders to align on GTM digital strategies and accompanying tactics aimed at driving customer engagement, while anticipating and resolving key pain points to reduce friction, increase brand equity, and fuel sales growth for all brands across our portfolio and channels
  • Define and present brand-building opportunities in the interactive space based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the brand, and recommending actions that drive the business forward, including brand health measures
  • Help build a data-driven decision-making culture that utilizes high-quality analytics in making decisions around marketing communications and other elements of the user experience
  • Champion digital transformation by fostering a culture that embraces digital opportunities as a strategic necessity
  • Develop and orchestrate business processes, workflows, and tools to streamline productivity while striving for automation where possible to optimize business outcomes
  • Oversee martech budget for optimal resource allocation and ROI through build/buy/partner decisions and finding optimization opportunities based on thorough cost-benefit analysis
  • Manage external agency/vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support digital marketing initiatives while enhancing the marketing technology stack

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing or related field required
  • Innovative and high-energy marketing and IT technologist with 15+ years of digital product management and marketing operations experience
  • Considerable experience architecting and managing enterprise martech stacks (CMS, CRM, PIM, DAM)
  • Expert level knowledge of digital marketing and analytics platforms such as Sitecore, WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Unbounce, Stibo, Celum, Google Analytics 360, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Optimizely
  • Considerable marketing operations experience including web development, UI/UX, SEO/SEM, conversion rate optimization, ecommerce, tagging, analytics, marketing automation, email marketing, lead management, customer segmentation, product data governance, digital asset management, etc
  • Solid online marketing experience with a technical background (HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, databases, web development tools, web analytics, graphic design)
  • Should have some background of programming in their initial career (any web technology knowledge) as this helps in estimating the time for tasks and hence to manage with teams
  • Familiar with product and data feeds to various platforms and sites for data propagation
  • Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies and importance of responsive design for consumer-facing brand sites
  • Understand the leadership team priorities and how the workflow should be prioritized with those priorities
  • Be able to develop solutions to reach objectives, not present roadblocks
  • Demonstrated track record of having successful managed a web marketing team in a fast-paced company, with a deep understanding of different requirements and success criteria
  • An "out of the box" thinker who will always challenging themselves and the team to develop innovative ideas and solutions
  • A talent builder with the ability to put together, drive and retain a high performing team in a high visibility area
  • Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships and work with all levels within an organization

  • Experience managing multiple brands and activities that cross regions and languages
  • Experience in budget management, consultant/vendor RFP, agency management
  • Experience crafting digital strategies in the context of a brand strategy and leading measurement plans
  • Strong internet marketing experience at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Knowledge and continued focus on current trends, concepts, tools, vendors, practices and procedures within the digital space
  • Comfortable communicating in both formal and informal settings, with strong written and verbal communication skills; be able to communicate complex concepts to people of different backgrounds throughout the organization
  • Creative thinker that sees the big picture and implements novel and effective digital strategies to drive the success of each brand
