The Legislative Regulatory Analyst is responsible for analyzing legislative policy proposals, government relations and legal regulatory compliance and reporting to Leonine clients on the potential impact. As an entry-level analyst position, there is focus on developing an advanced understanding of state government affairs, law, politics and the legislative and regulatory processes in all 50 states, Congress, D.C. and Puerto Rico, as well as various clients’ specific public policy interest areas (ex: education, health care, taxation, financial services).
NOTE: Full competence in the above essential functions generally requires two years of employment in this capacity.
This position will be primarily remote with travel to Vermont required for quarterly meetings. We are accepting applicants from Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts or Virginia.
