Overview:
As a Licensing and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for the company-wide agent/agency licensing items (processing new licenses, renewal licenses, change of address, name changes, affiliations, tracking flood credits, etc.), assistance with TPA licensing, completing agency profiles in licensing database, EB carrier appointments, assist with surplus lines filings and taxes, and licensing projects. This position plays a key role within the organization by ensuring compliance with ever changing local and federal regulations, adding new appointments and new licenses to meet department and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses excellent
communication skills with a demonstrated drive for personal success.
- Agent/agency licensing items (processing new licenses, renewal licenses,
change of address, name changes, affiliations, tracking flood credits, etc.) - Assist with TPA licensing
- Completing agency profiles in licensing database,
- Assist with multiple state surplus filings
- Assist with Reconciliations for tax purposes
- Assist with carrier appointment paperwork completion
- Work with agents regarding appointments and licensing issues
- Assist in resolving licensing issues as needed
- Projects as assigned by Compliance Manager
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new information and apply knowledge
learned. - Strong communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear and
concise manner. - High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlines
independently. - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize various assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet goals, deadlines, and department
standards for quality and productivity - Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is
required. - Prior experience with processing of licenses, surplus lines filings, and appointment experience preferred
